Information
Lekë performed as soloist and many Chamber Music Ensembles in the U.S., France, Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo. He has also made many appearances with orchestras, chamber ensembles and as a soloist throughout Europe and Radio Broadcasts in Eastern Europe. Among other venues and events, he’s performed at the International University City in Paris, Chopin Piano Festival in Prishtina and Church of Saint Paul the Apostle in Manhattan, New York. Salihu has taught Piano and Chamber Music classes at the University of Prishtina, Kosovo. In the community of musicians, Salihu is known as a brilliant accompanist on the Piano for Singers, Flutists and Clarinet players. He’s currently based in the New York City area and takes an active part in the Music life there.
