Hannah Lee is an active soloist, chamber musician, and teacher based in New York City.

Hannah taught her first clarinet student at a very young age, and realized her passion for teaching music as she watched her student go from playing his first notes to making the all-district band within the first year. She has since worked with many students of all ages and ability levels, and enjoys creating individualized lessons that cater to the needs of each student. During her time in Cincinnati, she held the position of Instructor of Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, and Beginner Piano at Anderson Music Workshop. She currently teaches independently and substitutes at various music schools throughout NYC.

A founding member of three chamber ensembles, The BATH Quartet, Trio Confiant, and The Blue Ridge Clarinet Collective, Hannah has a passion for performing and collaborating with other musicians. In Spring 2016, she traveled to Port of Spain, Trinidad with members of the Virginia Tech Clarinet Studio to perform concerts with an emphasis on electronic music in collaboration with the clarinet studio at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. Other highlights include performances at Carnegie Hall, National Academy for Performing Arts (Trinidad), and the Moss Arts Center (VA.)

Hannah received her Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in May 2019. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Clarinet Performance and Music Education from Virginia Tech. She has studied with Ronald Aufmann of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Phillip O. Paglialonga, and Thomas Crawford.
